Sandwell Aquatics Centre was the only custom-built facility for the recent Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham in 2022. Located within 1 mile of APiC HQ, the centre accommodated up to 5000 for the games and has recently completed its ‘legacy phase’ and has been converted into a working Leisure Centre to serve the local and wider Sandwell communities. This world-class facility has seen Olympians, Paralympians and Commonwealth Games Gold Medallists achieve here, and now offers an olympic-size swimming pool, diving facility, gym, spa and halls to the public.
